​So Noriega is saying that he didn't know about the situation with OVG until he was notified by the press on September 4th of 2025 which was the eve of the vote, although:

"An internal memo shows the city met with representatives from Oak View Group on July 8 — the day before the indictment was announced — and again on Aug. 15, Aug. 20, Aug. 27 and Aug. 28.

 

“Due diligence was conducted, including verifying corporate status,” the memo read. “There were no adverse findings related to [the company’s] responsibility.”

So... Noriega spoke to OVG on the evening of Lieweiski's indictment, but had no clue of it being in the news until he was informed two months later.

 

He's going to hand $60 million to the CEO of a company that just got indicted and he knew nothing of the matter until 2 months later?
